Shock Sign Two Forwards

The Oceanside Shock today announced the signing of two forwards to the team in advance of Sunday’s 5pm faceoff against the Stockton Thunder. The club has signed forwards Jeremy Rezaeepour and Sean Reynolds to standard FPHL contracts. As per the league and club, both will be available for selection on Sunday.

Jeremy Rezaeepour, 32, is of Iranian descent and played two seasons in Iran, from 2023-25. He was a dynamic scorer in two seasons skating for the University of Texas-El Paso, including a 44-goal season in 2016-17. Most recently, Rezaeepour featured for the Orange County Mallards of the MountainHL, scoring (6-4=10) points in six games in 2025-26.

Reynolds, 34, is an Orange County resident who returned from six years away from hockey in 2025-26 to play four games for the Orange County Mallards, scoring (1-1=2) points). After four seasons at Lawrence University from 2013-17, Reynolds played for Danville and Elmira in the FPHL, with career totals of (55-57=112) points in 84 games.

The Shock take on the Stockton Thunder today at 5pm at Frontwave Arena, concluding three games in three days to begin the franchise’s first season.
